- The case happened on my city, the island of Florianópolis. A bunch of unsuferable rich kids thought that torturing a dog and kiling was funny, a dorman saw the act, and called the autorities, the kids daddys and family, tried to blackmail the doorman, the judge left the case, because she was friends with the family. The case snowballad in something bigger and more organic, the fact that instead of solving the problem within the scumbag kids, the families tried to silence the crowd, now the population around the world is claming for punishment, cops, criminals, left, center and right, artists and business owners are boycoting the business suposed linked of the killers families.

Orelha, a community dog of about 10 years old, who died after being attacked on Praia Brava, in the North of Florianópolis, is remembered by residents of the region as "docile and playful", according to veterinarian Fernanda Oliveira, who was monitoring the animal.
The Civil Police have identified at least four teenagers suspected of participating in the attacks and, on the morning of this Monday (26), are carrying out search and seizure warrants at addresses linked to the suspects.
Orelha was one of the dogs that became mascots of Praia Brava. The area has three small houses designated for community animals, and the dog lived daily with residents and other dogs in the neighborhood.
The dog was found on January 15th, agonizing, by residents who took him to a veterinary clinic, but he ended up being euthanized due to the severity of his injuries.
Speaking to g1, the veterinarian said that Orelha was "synonymous with joy" and was a frequent part of her routine. According to her, the dog was extremely docile and playful, and was a hit with tourists
The professional further explained that there wasn't a single person responsible for the costs, but that Orelha never went without medical care. She had the freedom to carry out deworming protocols, vaccinations, and consultations whenever necessary, and the residents would then come to settle the payments.
The Residents' Association of Praia Brava highlighted the animal's emotional importance and stated that Orelha had become a "simple but much-loved symbol." The organization also released a statement lamenting the incident.

“Every time someone spoke to him in a softer tone or made a move to pet him, he would lower his ears, wag his tail, and lie down until he received a belly rub. He was very loved. Even the tourists knew him. A 10-year-old dog… what harm could he do to anyone?” she asked.
