Does anyone see Deron Winn being majorly successful?

I do not. DC seems to love him. But he’s like a 5’2 middleweight with T. rex arms. I don’t think he lasts much longer and I’m not a fan of his. What do you all think of deron Winn

Short for the division and seems to have shite cardio. Couldn’t hold his last opponent down til he gassed. Less he drops down a few weight classes I reckon he’ll get the cut after consecutive losses.

Undefeated at 205.

Strong group of training partners.

Beat the reining world champ in a wrestling match.

I still think he will do well at lightheavy.

He need to cut weight and go down, but he's too stubborn to do so. So no I really don't see him succeed. He's probably gonna get cut.

No. Strangely, the heavier he gets the more I want to watch for the novelty.

His height is not the actual problem, it is the lack of skill/all around game to compensate for it.

There are 5"8 LHWs, only two inches taller than Deron fighting a weight class up which is equally absurd. His own mentor Daniel Cormier has said in the past he is realistically 5'9.5-5'10; and was the Heavyweight champion.

Him moving down to WW wouldn't do anything. Your not gonna win at any weight class if you have poor cardio, try to turn every fight into a wrestling match, and once you get your opponent to the ground are clueless.

He is not a UFC caliber fighter, his friendship with Cormier got him an opportunity which he has been able to hold onto due to fighting weak competition.
