I think ima go break up with her right now... I'm too insecure.

anywho.... A lot of my favorite athletic activities I don't really enjoy doing with people. I love bike rides by myself. I'll do 60-70 miles alone on a day off.
She likes softball and is really really good. I personally hate the sport. I dread the thought of having to join a team with her once we're married.
 
i tried a couple of times, but she was too self conscious. sometimes around the house i'd do some stuff or she'd do some stuff, but most of the time she complained about me being around while she was trying to exercise.
 
to be honest she works out more than i do. but i appear to be in better shape than her. genetics ftw!
 
We're not exactly on the same plane on anything fitness related. I'm 6'4" 260, she's 5'6" a buck thirty. We obviously don't have the same goals in the gym and I run a 10 minute mile and a half, she runs about a ten minute mile. It just doesn't work.

I go to goldsgym for free. both my roomates have memberships. if i go with them i can go for free as a guest unlimited times. if they dont want to go i can use their card. pretty sweet

Used to with an Ex, miss it, even if i don't miss sparring with her (1'2" shorter, and 2/3 my weight).
 
We did many times and still do sometimes but honestly I prefer to do my own thing and she does her own thing even if we are at the gym at the same time. I find that when we work out together she gets spoiled and wants me to help her for anything, to complete reps (on the first set)and stupid stuff but I just feel she slows me down.

From far I can see she is capable of doing her routine by herself but somehow if I do it with her she needs help, nahhh I rather do my stuff on my own. Sometimes we can do an an exercise together like squats or abs, but I have to feel that Im on a day where I will have the patience, otherwise we get to the gym together and we each do our own thing
 
We go to different gyms and she practises boxing and I mma but we run together!
 
I used to try but my girl hates when I tell her to push herself. She damn near yells at me so told her for now on she works on her own.
 
Nope gym and Judo time is my own, just like her runs are hers

You'd think it would be embarrassing, but it was awesome having a gal that new how to work out help you. It's funny because sometimes it's the little things that change how quickly you get into shape.

I always try to get her interested in the same sports I do (highland games, powerlifting). So when I can get her to come to the gym with me, I'll do my training, then spot/train her in between my sets.
