They say the world cup for football is the most watched sports event.

I wonder how many on here watch this spectacle.

World Cup + Euro is pretty much all the Soccer I watch. But definitely try to catch as many matches as I can.

wrong friggin thread

No. I can't watch stand watching grown men acting like they were shot by a gun every time someone lightly bumps them.

I might try to force myself to watch the Murica game tomorrow

This thread will attract 2 types: 1. Soccer fans 2. Soccer haters. The people in the middle will entirely overlook this thread, and that's actually the group that would matter most.

I put it on the TV some time while I am working, but just concentrating on it is unwatchable.

I watched a few minutes of Ivory Coast vs. Japan last night, only because it was playing in the restaurant I was in. Honestly soccer can't keep my attention because they don't score enough. This game was an exception because within the few minutes I was watching Ivory Coast scored two goals. They tied the game and then took the lead in a very short time period. If that happened more often in soccer I would find it watchable but when almost 90 minutes have gone by and the score is 0-0 I find that to be an incredibly boring affair. They need some progression in the score board to make it interesting.

Since there has been 0 games end 0-0 this WC, you should probably watch a few more games. Averaging at least 3 goals a game at this point.

If the game is end to end and both teams are creating chances, why is the scoreline relevant?

I've heard this argument before and I find it strange.
