Do you think Ebikes are contributing to our growing obesity problem?

I don't know. At least the person is outside. Most bikes that I'm familiar with have different modes. You have all electric and then you have peddle power with assist when wanted. That is the settling I place my ebike on. Most of the time I supply the power, but when I come to a hill I'll hit the assist button. That help keeps my knees feeling good.

No. Food contributes to obesity, not exercise or lack thereof (beyond 5%)

Doubtful. I've never been on a e-bike, but I'm guessing that you still have to use your body to some degree?

I'd hazard a guess and say that it's either overfeeding or computers/consoles/tablets etc instead of playing outside.

I also don't know how long daily commutes to and from school are, and if parents keep dropping them off in cars or not.

I used to walk thirty minutes, up and down fields, often in the pissing rain.

Kids should run the risk of getting molested. It was a rite of passage and the observational skills it gave me really helped as an adult. I am also still capable of sprinting because of ot, despite my size.

They were already obese, so I can’t really tell.
don’t see many big people on e-bikes where I am at. Most seem down on their luck, except for the green ones tourists rent.
