where do you get chinese moonshine? granted I'm in the South and haven't seen it in our liquor stores. just american moonshine of course around here.

overall I prefer scotch/irish whisky to bourbon, but in the summer I do bourbon with a big cube of ice. Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve, Jim Beam Black... in the winter though, something about Maker's Mark tastes good.

No, that shit is nasty. My roommate of about a decade ago drinks whisky on ice. It makes me gag, I can't do it. We used to go to this country music club to pick up women and he'd always order me fucked up drinks. I never understood how anyone could drink cold shots. I've had plenty of cold mixed drinks, those are fine but straight up cold liquor is a hard pass for me.

I live in China
my wifes family is from rural china. they get me some pretty legit moonshine.
weirdest was the ol snake moonshine and goat blood moonshine

right now i got this moonshine mixed with antlers, gouji berries and some other chinese liquors

it must be close to 75%

moonshine is crazy when its close to that 70 and up it makes you feel more high than drunk.

Whiskey stones work well for making the drink cold without diluting it with melted ice. I find the large ball of ice more of a novelty and still melts plenty into the drink. If you're drinking something real cheap you might want the ice anyways to mute those burning notes.

If you don’t like the taste of your drink, don’t drink it. Never understood watering a drink down
