Do you guys consider Cowboy Cerrone a journeyman?

Journeymen don't tend to earn title shots, so no.

When I think journeyman, I think a fighter that is middle of the road but doesn't have a shot against any top ten fighter.

A journeyman is a fighter who is not good enough to attain and keep the status of contender or gatekeeper. I think of a fighter who bounces around for organization to organisation, acquiring a mediocre record.

31-7, 18-4 in the UFC with a title shot and top 10 ranking is not a journeyman to me.

journeymen dont have 22 fights in the same organization.

they... journey... between organizations and minimum wage jobs.

Absolutely. If Cowboy was a pitcher, he'd be a #3 starter. A good #3, but still a journeyman.

A gatekeeper is a journeyman.
