News Disney employee that ruined proposal is terminated.

Was he trying to make sure the Disney castle was in the background? What the hell

Sounds dumb. Everyone is so instantly offended by everything these days.

He was just pointing out that where he pointed was a better spot for the video as it shows the Disney castle more. He wasn't being mean spirited

You can point it out without hijacking the whole thing. Why would you even grab the ring from a couple you don't even know?

Dumb move but shouldn't be fire worthy.

For context from my understanding: Guy and gal jumped a fence onto a stage that was set to have a performer on it within minutes, which had pyrotechnics on board. Guy and gal lied and said they had permission to do it. Also, it typically costs 5k+ to have a proposal like that arranged on Disney property.

Dude was just doing his job imo. You aren't entitled to have a special moment for the benefit of your social media followers. His big mistake was taking the ring and touching a guest. Disney has strict rules about cast members touching a guest and, barring a life and death situation, it's pretty much immediate termination. From my understanding he was fired for touching the guest, not for interrupting the proposal.

Because I think the guy is not all there mentally, judging by how he talks. Maybe slightly autistic

I disagree. It definitely hurts business for Disney when a video like that goes viral. People come to Disney world for a good time with family. It’s where the magic happens and that guy ruined it. Not only is the couple humiliated, but their one special moment is ruined forever and they can never get that moment back. The stupid employee should never put his hands on someone else’s property. That’s a lawsuit on its own. He also should of waited for the man to stand up and then politely ask the couple to get off stage, but the idiot had no common sense.

If this is true, why did he get fired?

Damn, Disney wants their cut of those memories being made. He's like a collector, no one wants that job. Dude was fired publicly but privately he's getting a raise and a short vacation since that does probably suck having to be the guy who regulates things like this

Magic and dreams aren't free bro. Disney has changed so much in recent decades. Back when I was a kid, it was pretty awesome, you still had Club 33 and shit, but most of the "Caste" system was hidden from you if you were just a regular person. Now, it's all changed man. Disney is a Caste system. It's nuts. If you're a poor, you'll definitely feel it.

there is no way there is any magic there. Best thing to do is counter disneys conditioning of children from an early age so that they rather go to japan or some thing else other than disney. Gimme itchy and scratchy land any day.

Must be a really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really slow news day.

It was an Australian news channel.

It was either this story or another one about Bush fires or threats from China.
