After watching the fight it seems like he refused to punch him and refused to only go for the takedowns, even during the takedowns he didn't bother to ground and pound in the dominant position. Is this to piss Dana off?

glad somebody mentions this, everybody is ignoring the fact that Ngannou was injured and is jumping on him pretty hard right now. That wasn't the normal Francis Ngannou and he still managed to win.
