Sometimes I drive by buildings that used to be stores I remember from my childhood or teen years and get a nice wave of nostalgia. Add some Stores or even products that you remember that aren't around any more
Circuit City-Founded in Richmond, VA in 1949, defunct as of 2012

KB Toys- Founded in Pittsfield, MA 1922, defunct as of 2009

Blockbuster Video-Founded in Dallas, TX in 1985 still in operation (10 locations(!))

Discovery Zone- Founded in Kansas City, MO in 1989, defunct in 1999

Pamida-Founded in Knoxville, IA in 1963, merged with Shopko in 2012

Montgomery Ward- Founded in Chicago,IL in 1872 defunct as of 2001 (mail order still operative)

Circuit city near me became an HHGregg.....now it's currently nothing.
 
oh yeah, HH Gregg went under too didn't they?
 
Tower records, RadioShack, rapes-r-us...classic stores
 
There are literally hundreds of stores that came and went in my hometown. I wouldn't know where to begin.
 
I miss Blockbuster and Hollywood video.
 
I just miss that experience of going in and walking around I guess lol

it was an event

you had all those people in there bullshitting about movies and if something was new and you wanted it you would rush in and like also check the counter to see if it was just returned, plus so and so picks.

also, having the box in your hand and looking at the cover art and reading the back blurb.
