*When there is a tittle unification? GSP vs Condit

*Fighters from different combat sports? Cotoure vs Toney

*Champ vs Champ even when it is not a reigning champion? Aldo vs Pettis

*Champ vs Champ only when both are dominate, long-term champions? Silva vs Jones (pre-Weidman)

*Inter-species battle? Fedor vs Bear

Edit: Not Toney vs. Couture, that was more of a freakshow fight, not because Toney is a freak, but because he was great inh is own sport but a neophyte in MMA.

1. A fight with 2 fighters that have an unbeatable aura around them.
2. They can both be from the same weightclass.
3. Likely that both are extremely popular.
4. Does it make your mouth water? What I mean is, it's not just two good fighters, but styles that would collide like titans. (Lesnar vs Fedor, fuck I wanted to see that)

For me those are the highest level of superfight.

But Aldo x Pettis, Aldo x Edgar are still superfights for me.

Toney x Couture is just like a freakshow.

Champ vs champ. The longer they been the champ of their weight division the better. I have a hard time saying aldo vs Pettis is a Superfight as Pettis just got the title! Also vs Benson if he had beaten Pettis would be in my opinion would have been one. There's only 1 super fight the UFC can make now. After Asken is signed Asken vs Lombard! Belator champ vs Belator champ
