Stronger with an mutant chin. As wild a striker as Brunson but more of a thinker. He seems to UNDERSTAND how wild his striking is whereas Brunson might be less conscious of how silly he looks. DDP is fine with it because it works - no shame in his game. And he's thinking his way through that mess of ugly striking.

The biggest difference between DDP and every other fighter in the division, including Brunson, is his chin. Messy DuPlessis can use his chin as a shield and win fights against top strikers whereas that plan would fail for just about every other MW.

Until his chin wears down from mileage, he'll be essentially unbeatable because he is the only guy in the fight who cannot be KO'd no matter what is done to him. I'd bet he could take a baseball bat to the head and respond with an awkward spinning backfist, no problems at all.
