I get the in cage promo part- that all started with “I’m not eeeempressed” gsp
But Dana should have given DDP a few moments to shine before Izzy embarrassed himself in front of the world
DDP said he had a poster of Bobby on his walll and that Bobby was one of his heroes- and then the dummy showed up all emotional and frankly he sounded drunk with the “36 and 3 “ thing which he said twice
I still can’t believe he used the n word- so unnecessary and trashy- this is one of many reasons that DDP is going to put him into Bolivian soon

he's not a natural trash talker as much as he wishes he was

he forces it and it becomes awkward most of the time

he's also not great at having his finger on the pulse either, remember the twin towers comment?

Izzy is the kind of guy who acts nice only if he has the moment. Look at his history vs Pereira. Izzy called Alex a nobody at some bar and claimed himself a legend before their 3rd fight. After the night, he’s full of excuses. Only when he won the 4th fight, he hugged it out with Pereira, acknowledged his skills, and showed the “classy” side of himself. Last night, after DDP got the W, you can tell that it bothered Izzy so much that the spot light was on DDP. Izzy fans will say that he wanted DDP to win and that it will be an easy fight. I don’t know about you but when things go my way, I get happy as oppose to be butt hurt or vindictive.

Izzy sold tickets. DDP should thank him afterwards for doing the job for him. Izzy brought in the WWE heel shit full send. Now we have a rivalry that will sell and DDP gets to be the good guy.

I didn't see it. He was using slurs towards Dricus? I know he called him a cracker in another video a few weeks back. He'll face no repercussions though. We all know where the actual racism comes from these days. You're allowed to be racist one way

Izzy could've sold the fight without being racist.

Could even be heel and play up the Africa champ thing, without screeching the n-word at DDP.

Yeah that was awkward. You'd think Dricus just broke up with Izzy from that response. He seemed close to shedding a tear. Does Izzy not realize the difference between race and nationality. Dricus doesn't claim he's black, he claims he lives where he actually lives.
It was very strange, cringe and awkward.

Sure, Izzy is a great fighter, but in that interview he sounds like he is trying to copy 50 cent by acting all hood like this video lol

The whole "intrigue" was the African stuff. If the whole point of it was how they are fighting who's real African or not, I see how race vs nationality played out. Its about on the level how most audience digest race discussion today anyways. Idk to me they are just words and hype with controversy. It's working because people can't stop discussing it.

Basically. He said 'whats up my African Brothah!? What's up my N? What's up N?'

DDP was just kinda laughing at him.

"23 & Me" (drunk Izzy fooked that oop) is a rather large DNA testing company who can tell you your family origins, as well as being an incredible health anaylysis giving you information on different problems your body holds that might be a health issue for you or on the flip, can tell you if you have advantages in certain areas.

DDP’s pov is that he was born there & stayed there to trane while other Africans split to trane & now live elsewhere. Izzy’s pov is that South Africa was taken by force & enslaved the locals to take over the region, so if anyone is a "true African... it ain't DDP due to his ancestory. Izzy has a point, but so does DDP. Putting it together, I guess a "true African MMA fighter" would have the ancestry & live & train in Africa.

The use of the NBomb came from American slave owners who called their black slaves that. So it's a very derogatory term to use to identify a black person. It's identified now as being an "ignorant" person. Izzy was using it as a way to say that DuPlessis' ancestory wasn't a true African... he sarcastically said, "what's up NBomb" to mean that DDP isn't a true African... he just fooked oop his pov by referring to his own people as NBombs.
