I don't know. I've heard too many strong arguments claiming that Miocic's eye poke was a 9/10, so the four or five 7/10 eye pokes by Cormier were erased from the human timeline.

Great trilogy ruined by eye pokes by both fighters, in my opinion.

There is a simple fix, really. Just re-design the glove like PRIDE glove, where the fingers are naturally curled downward:

Right from what I remember that was the only poke Stipe threw and it jacked up his eye. Funny how DC immediately cried about it right after the fight when he was gauging Stipe's in both fights and he only made it known when he said he was sitting out longer because of his eye damage.

1st eyepoke in Stipe/DC III should've resulted in DC's disqualification.

It can not possibly be any more clear that the dude does it to gain an advantage that he knows he won't be penalized on unless he does it too many times too often. He has no fear of repercussions because he knows he'll get away with it, especially in a big fight where refs might hesitate to take away points that can affect the outcome. He illegally attempts to sway the fight to his advantage by making their vision compromised.
