His recent win over Miocic was indeed impressive, and the fact that he did it @ 39 yrs old is pretty crazy...
A legit Dare-2-Be-Great Move.

tbh I didnt see it coming, thought Strikeforce DC would have been game vs Miocic, but UFC DC was so far out of his [physical] prime, that it had to be considered a legit upset... But, realistically, Miocic was not a huge step-up in competition...


Now...On the other side, if you think about it... his early win over Barnett is perhaps crazier... and perhaps an even greater upset...

See: DC was still unknown, techically a rookie, and Barnett was a huge step-up in competition.
Barnett was on a great run, managed to reach the top3 in Pride..
Miocic could have broken into the top 3, but that´s not a lock, competition back then @ HW was much more legit imo...

The 2 wins are impressive, would be like splittin´hairs... But my choice is the one over Barnett.

Two wins over Rumble is most impressive to me. Even if it seems like Rumble gave up. Dude was a KILLER and sleeping elite fighters left and right
 
The way people post around here you’d think his best win is a NC that he got KO’d in.

DC was the favourite against Barnett

People knew that if Barnett couldn't take him down, he wouldn't win and that it was unlikely he'd be able to take DC down

No one thought he was going to throw Barnett around they way he did... but DC was most people's picks and the betting favourite

IIRC, Barnett was the favourite, and rightfully so, was a vet, on a tear, while DC was still a rookie technically...
 
HW fighters arnt very good... I think Rumble and Henderson were good wins.
 
Hendo on paper but if you think about the time of the fights I'd say Miocic or Rumble
 
Stipe.

With Barnett he just had to avoid a sub..there was several paths to victory, boxing, wrestling, and top control.

With Stipe he had to take what was given and adapt to what Stipe would throw at him due to Stipe's well roundedness. Stipe's chin failed him when he needed it most.
 
His win over Jon Jones... oh wait... he didn't beat Jon Jones...

It's hard to say, DC has incredible resume...

Gus, Prime Rumble, Stipe, Barnett, Prime Bigfoot, Roy, Mir, Prime Volkan, Anderson...

I'd rank his victories this way:

1. Stipe
2. Rumble
3. Gus
4. Barnett
5. Bigfoot
6-8. Mir/Roy/Volkan
9-10. Anderson/Hendo
11-14. Tony Johnson/Palelei/Cummins/Monson

stipe, without a doubt. i thought 100% he'd lose that fight. but man, dc proved me wrong for sure.
