Darts-PDC World Championship Quarterfinals 1-1-24 Start Closing at 7:45 Final Close at 3:30pm ET

Hard to imagine Cross getting past the (ahem) kid if he gets off to the same start he did today. The other semi looks like a barn burner if Humphries and Williams both stay hot.

Hopefully the kid gets to the final, toughest test so far.
I realize he's returning from retirement, but because of his resume at this level; I see Barney as a far bigger test than Cross. I'll be rooting for Littler today and tomo. A 37 yo teenager winning a World Championship is a great story.

imo, Humphries is currently strong arming himself into the #1 debate alongside Price and MVG.

Kid brought a scattergun to the stage and still somehow pulls even in sets 1-1. Now going on the boil.

Feels like they both have been back to the wall already, but we are all even at 4 sets each.

Going to see a lot of Littler in the future.

Humphries charge to #1 has been damn impressive.

Congrats to to both. Especially impressed with Humphries ability to keep it together when he knocked out the trb 20 and had the math error or w/e that was.

Littler miss some shots or get nervous you think? I wasn't able to watch today.
He was up 4-2. Then Humphries averaged around 110 over the the last five sets and made him pay for every missed double. The kid played well, better math than Humphries even. Humphries is just the best player in the world right now, and he was exceptional when it mattered. I think he ended up 1 (180) shy of the finals record.
