Would be a scary fight for Cormier in those first 7,8 minutes :D Still, he would probably decision Carwin.

Carwin couldn't go the distance with DC. If DC makes it outta the first, he clobbers Big Shane.

DC wrestles & GnPs the brakes clean off him. To Bolivian & back.

Considering Carwin was already around 33 when he started in the UFC and was full of injuries by 36 and retired doesnt give a big window.

Carwin hits harder than even Rumble but he is much slower and less mobile. DC is 5'10 and has a huge speed advantage as a result even vs Rumble he looked at 38 just as fast if not faster considering how overweight he is and how shitty his "weight cut" went.

First round would look like Carwin/Brock, with Shane winning via possible stoppage and if D.C. Makes it out the first then it possibly looks like Couture/Timmy with Daniel getting the decision or even late round finish due to Shane nearly dying of exhaustion

DC smokes him with one hand, while never putting down the drumstick with the other.

I loved watching Carwin KO the mid tier guys into oblivion, but he's basically a slower Rumble Johnson fight for DC, where he just has to avoid getting caught for the first 4-5 minutes then grind it out

DC's skills are more refined than Shane, by a wide margin. DC by rnc.

I don't know why everyone pretends like Carwin is the hardest puncher in all of the universe. The only guys of note he KO'd were Mir and Gonzaga, two guys who have been KO'd a million times. He couldn't KO Lesnar, who hates getting hit, after pounding on him for a round. He couldn't hurt JDS, who Overeem KO'd. He hits hard, sure, but Cormier has a fantastic chin. Carwin also has garbage cardio. Cormier would have him on his back and huffing for air in 3 minutes.

He's also 50lbs on Rumble which make things a little tougher for DC.

Also, while Carwin does gas, the Brock fight was extreme due to Carwins own health issues going into that fight.

Carwins cardio was even worse than AJ

Cormier gives him a ass whooping. Carwin is very stiff and slow

This match up is a lot like DC vs Rumble, Carwin's win condition is landing one big punch and although Carwin may be the hardest hitting fighter to ever step into the octagon he's much slower than Rumble and doesn't have the high kicks, DC wins by RNC in R2 or 3.

Also like Rumble, Carwin is a competent and strong wrestler that can hold his own in the first round before they gas and get blanketed.

The Cigano who fought Overeem was a shell of the one that beat down Carwin, if we're being honest.

Holy shit that's an awesome match up... Love both dudes... That's crazy tough to call. Slight edge to DC I think.

If Carwin doesn't land on of those meat hooks in the 1st minute the fight will be over. Cormier by grind till Carwin gasses and gets finished.

Surely Carwin would have to sacrifice a leg in order to make 205 so the fight most likely would be at HW. Either way it's pointless to speculate as DC wins in either weight class.

Carwin is far too slow and DC is the far superior fighter technically.

It's pretty much the same as speculating as to who would win out of Cain vs Carwin and we all know no one is giving Carwin the nod in that no matter what you think of Cain's chin.

Huh?? Are you really comparing the way DC takes a shot to the way Brock does?
