Figgy's feelings are hurt (perhaps rightfully so) and he's making a threat that has little to no consequence for anyone but himself. The division will go on with or without him...and if anyone believes that the UFC 'wants Moreno to be champ' for the Mexican market, then Figgy threatening to move up is doing the UFC a favour, if anything.

If fighters and fans have learned *anything* over the years, it should be that the UFC will move on with or without any particular fighter. A fighter making threats to sit out, to change divisions, etc. is unlikely going to pressure the UFC into doing anything (and certainly not when the threat comes from someone at Figgy's level).

Dana's a scumbag for the way he abuses his position of power to bully everyone. You can see how he disrespects the fighters because the UFC machine (and the TV/PPV exposure) is the product more so than any individual fighter.. without it they're just fighters going off to bellator or bare knuckle fighting, he knows it so he treats them (and pays them) like dirt knowing they don't really have a good alternative.

Figueiredo, who earned $150,000 for his last fight deserves to be mocked for demanding more money, yet Ngannou who bragged about turning down $7,000,000 from the UFC deserves full respect and support?
