This fight is before the Co-Main a week Saturday.

I have definitely saw Ige on a few cards but he was on at the stage in the night where you are only half watching. He is a solid fighter, I remember that much. Believe he trains with Khabib and the boys.

Hardcores - what is his path to victory versus Edson? I think the cut will be tough for Barboza, great chance for Ige to take a big scalp in front of what you’d think are many nationwide spectators...

I'm actually leaning towards Ige. Tough to say how Barboza will look at 145. I think Ige could definitely grind him out.

I think Ige beats him regardless of what condition Edson shows up in.

Barboza is solid. Ige will av to bring it if he wants it. I member him winning a fight but yeah ain't really watch that but if he beats barboza, either ez or life or death, he will be a must watch after
Btw edson mek 145 - midget konfirmed

Why the f*k they pitting two guys I really, really, like against each other? And why the f*k Barboza just can't pick 1 easy gimme fight..?

Why, why, why..!

I’m so pumped for this fight. Both killers. Too bad one has to lose.

Ige's a good BJJ guy with decent wrestling and that's his best bet to a victory. That said, his boxing is tight and shouldn't be slept on either, but obviously it's always a risk to strike with Barboza.

Ige's very good, it's a close fight. If Barboza shows up in normal condition I favor Edson, I think Ige likes to stay on the feet for too long and could end up getting hurt bad.
But if Dan constantly pressures and uses his striking to set up his TDs a decision win is pretty likely IMO.

This fight hinges on how Edson looks at 145.

If he handles the cut well, I can see him being a problem for that division, and maybe he could finally earn a title shot.

Would love to see him vs Zabit, but I think they train together don't they?

Curious to see how Barboza cuts weight tomorrow.
On another note, absolutely mental that there are more weigh ins tomorrow... Saturdays card is considerably better on paper than last nights.
