Cub Swanson v Andre Fili: who won?

I had Cub winning that. He looked really good for a 40 year old featherweight. Hard to believe he's still out here doing his thing at his age.

Cub. Fili wasnt doing much of anything in the third. Cub missed most of his shots but was walking him down enough and forced Fili to clinch and lose the wrestling exchanges. Head scratcher to score it to Andre but we had same last week in Fak Dalby as Fak did some unpretty wrestling to stall Dalby from taking over but not much else to go with it. Almost like we fell back to 2009 again when lnp and wall and stall were considered effective fighting.

Also we now had Andrei, Dalby and Cub as relatively old fighters losing tight decisions that should have gone to them. Im not yet saying theres a pattern yet with judging but lets see if trend contineus.

i think Cub won, although it was close. i dont feel (heh) that Fili did enough in the 3rd round to really pull away. and Cub had done enough in the second round that i gave it to him.
and as a 40 year old featherweight he's been looking pretty good. i was amazed when he blew away Darren Elkins in under a round a few years ago.
gonna be a sad day when my boy Cub retires. always tries to make fights exciting.

Meh, Cub couldn’t find his mark and Fili slowed the action down by lots of clinching against the fence. He may have landed a TD too

Well, I thought it was one of the worst fights of the night, behind smith vs. Dolidze, and up there with the arlovski fight.

In my opinion it was a bad fight.
