Cris Cyborg Officially Signs With Zuffa (Updated)

Anybody who has seen Cyborg fight knows this will be Rousey's toughest fight no question. I really think it will play out like the recent Women's Straweight title fight. Cyborg will stuff any takedowns and punish Rousey on the feet for a TKO or KO. She is as strong or stronger than Rousey and will dictate where the fight goes. Can't wait to see this one !!!!

That conclusion is actually the opposite from what a person who actually have seen all of Justino's fights in the last five years would think.

Yes it is. She couldn't pass one minute standing up with Kaufmann, Zingano, Julia Budd, or even Alexis Davis. If only she had another skill that would allow her to defeat or at least take down any of those girls in less than one minute, she could be successful in MMA regardless of her below average striking game, and even be a champion.

Rousey tosses and subs "stronger" Olympic level grapplers. Cyborg's grappling is suspect and I think this will be an easy win for Ronda. Only one way to find out.

No contender would dictate where the fight is going against rousey. If she wants it on the ground, it goes to the ground.

Ronda isn't scared. It is pretty obvious that Cyborg is the reason the fight hasn't happened. She has ducked/ran, lied and changed her mind a hundred times about nearly everything you can think of over the last four years to the point that nothing she says or does can be taken seriously.

Then, what happend next was that Ronda beat Budd and Cyborg got busted for steroids. Ronda still agrees to fight Cyborg at 145 (According to Cyborg and her lawyers) for the FW title. However, with Cyborg unable to get her suspension reduced SF gets rid of the 145 class, effectively cancelling the fight (Cyborg's ruins the fight #1).

To which Cyborg backs out almost instantly saying she "will fight at 145, no less" and that she is the champion (actually she wasn't, she was stripped of the belt), and Cyborg ruins the fight for a second time, and ducks Ronda directly for the first time.

Then the UFC buys SF and picks up Ronda's contract and creates the 135 class. Then, the UFC picks up Cyborg's contract and even offers to let her to go Invicta and make money while she trims down until she can make 135. They even offered to PAY Mike Dolce for her to help her lose the weight.

Whatever games that Cyborg/Ronda are playing to get the fight made, it is clear that Ronda never wanted a 140 catchweight fight and the only side which was at least semi-serious about it was Cyborg.

All this useless talks about catchweights needs to stop, now. It's a loop that doesn't get anywhere, especially with the deal in place.

Cyborg will either be able to challenge Rousey fair and square for the BW belt, or she doesn't. It's that simple.

Here is Cyborg weighing in at 140. You're right, with 5 less pounds of muscle she will probably be bound to a wheelchair.

or you're just a moron, even at 135 she will still be the biggest and most muscular girl in the division. Also, the UFC has been trying to sign Cyborg for years (not protecting their "golden goose"), and it has been Cyborg running.

False, Ronda was willing to fight Cyborg at 145 until there was no 145 division. After that point Ronda was picked up by the UFC and after that Ronda held all the leverage and there was no need (or ability) to consider fighting in a division that didn't exist. Cyborg screwed this up at every turn.
