Was just looking at the stats for the Semelsberger vs Medic fight and noticed something really interesting about Semelsberger's fight history
Semelsberger has 7 official knockdowns in his last 4 fights and at least 1 knockdown in each of them but his records is only 1-3 in that span
It's pretty rare someone records knockdowns in 4 straight fights so far below HW (he fights at WW) so for him to have a losing record in those fights is pretty wild
I just thought it was interesting

Semi is a pretty hard hitting guy, sucks at finishing though. He just doesn't know how to properly follow up without getting reckless.

That explains why his corner was pleading with him to back off and let Medic up in the first round.

If only he had some slick bjj. He could’ve taken the back and worked an RNC or some gnp when he has opponents hurt.

The guy has a dynamite in his hands indeed. I think it perhaps has more to do with his opponents being able to recover and fight through and win. But it is interesting, haven't really looked at it that way.

This. The fight iq is lacking. He seems like he has talent, but just needs to get that situational awareness.

Semi has the death touch in his right hand, but if you survive it he mentally breaks. Similar to rumble (RIP)
