Media Costa's FEROCIOUS bodywork against Kopylov

He slowed down on the third. It was a very good performance but also bittersweet imo. The best Paulo is very good, but doesnt feel like champion material.
He's still a very young man with his whole future ahead of him.

Is Kop always that tentative? I guess the body shots and power made him hesitate but was frustrating to watch. Great performance from Costa though.

Cope-allow-yv made Costa look good.
Full afk, friendly sparring NPC with no plan, which gives 1-2 in return sometimes mixing with a head/body kick (just like any previous fight from him).

I would suggest Kopylov work at the lighthouse or night shift security at the mall, where you have to do smth only when smth happens.

He never was champion material.
The "best Costa" we saw had wins against:
An unknown irish guy;
Retired Hendricks;
Was struggling against Hall, even if he managed to win;

And then a back and forth first round against Romero (here we are where people sold this image of him being such a promising fighter), but got worse as long as the fight went, I had 2-1 for Romero in that fight.

That's some truly awful defense by Kopylov. The roundhouses to the body are particularly notable: he doesn't even try to block (not even blocking high on a bad guess!) or move out of the way, and in some cases he's moving in just enough to make it hurt more without actually closing distance. Some of the strikes aren't landing very hard, but enough are that just standing there and taking it without even returning effectively was positively stupid.

It's weird with Costa.
His punches and kicks look like he should kill a man but he can't finish a sandwich these days. Those guys he is fighting must either be super tough or he is somehow pillow fisted, even though he dropped the guy there.
That's crazy that he hasn't been knocking these guys out with some of the shots he landed.

Costa and Fiziev are like that, their strikes sound and look harder than they actually are

Came in to say OP is embellishing
Checked the vids out
Ferocious definitely is the correct descriptive

Anyone with half-decent footwork makes Costa look amateurish. He has some powerful strikes, but is really bad at cornering opponents.
