is it possible to take only muay thai classes there or u gotta take bjj also, and does anyone know if they offer discounts for students. I emailed new breed but no one responded.

nah I just wanna find out from people who know then I will decide and come up with the money

If they are set up like CGT was at FFC, then you can take Muay Thai without signing up for BJJ. But if you wanna do MT, there

Where did you send the email too? Mark is probably teaching and hasn't gotten around to replying.

But like Mick said, if you are referring to the old town location, he is correct you do not need to sign up for BJJ to take MT classes.

Same thing for the Niles location, you can just sign up for MT.

I'm not sure of the costs for MT, at either locations.

dam im aware that team toro muay thai has really good mt but its really far. if there isnt any good mt gyms here can you recommend a solid boxing gym, not like LA boxing Ive heard that place isnt so good..

Chicago Boxing Club on 35th and Halsted is the best boxing gym in the city they won the golden gloves tournament for the past 3 years

Sorry it took so long for me to get on the thread.

Basically, we have plans for everything. Discounts for students, everything. It really depends on what your really interested it. Its why we offer a free trial for up to 30 days.

But to answer your question, yes we offer just muay thai/boxing. Yes, we offer student discounts.

And we are going to be doing specials too for both Old Town and our Niles Training Center starting December 1st.

As BJJ prof eluded to, try it out. You have up to 30 days-- a whole month. Try it out. If you like it, great. If its not exactly what your looking for, let me know what your looking for-- I'll tell you where to go.

But try out the classes. Try out everything.

Its like buying a car. Everyone sells cars, they all have 4 wheels and engines. But you don't know the difference til you test drive them.

I trained both bjj and muay thai there a few summers back at the old New Breed location when I was home during a summer break, and really enjoyed the training there. I made the drive all the way from Lake Forest (Northern Suburbs), about 35 mins each way, and it was definitely worth it. Both of the muay thai instructors were legit, and the classes were much better than most muay thai classes I have ever attended.

it's definitely much more of a thai class than other gyms with cardio kickboxing. and i don't even train there.
