Controlled Labs Orange Triad

Is this good? Why?

I read a ton on here, and I really don't need to build much more muscle but I know I need joint repair and overall vitamin supplements. This seems to match the description but I can't tell if it is a quality product or not.

If this isn't good, is there anything else (preferably on a website I can order from in Canada) you guys can recommend that would be good multi / joint / overall wellness.

PS Reason for looking into this is I train Ju Jitsu and added Muay Thai while upping conditioning. Try to eat right but lately my knees have been getting stiff and I think I find myself getting colds more often now that I am training harder.

... Oh and to anyone in Atlantic Canada, what about the Super Store brands?

Ya but is this "good". Like is this quality materials.

I am basically looking for multi + joint formula but I guess I am asking would i be better served buying a different multi and some oils?

I don't need creatine and protein and all that crazy stuff, I just want to know what immune system boosting and joint health products people use, and specifically if they have used this one.

If you want a multi and a glucosamine formula, get a multi and a glucosamine formula. You're paying extra for a cool-sounding name and brightly colored capsules.

ya but doesnt the brand matter? what exactly is good?

Check the FAQ for the vitamin thread for a good multi suggestion...I don't know about the joint formula though...A search might pull up some results though

"creatine and protein and all that crazy stuff."

wow

"creatine and protein and all that crazy stuff."

wow

Dude, I understand the benefits of those supplements, however I am not trying to add a bunch of muscle. I am trying to reduce joint wear and tear and boost my immune system / overall healthiness.

I am not doubting the effectiveness of creatine or protein.

And for the love of god would somebody please reply with some actual suggestions. Everyone here has lots of negative things to say. where are the folks going "I use _____, I like it because _____ and you can buy it ______"

I have little personal experience with joint supplements. For me, it was just something I looked into awhile ago to see if there was anything that worked in a preventative capacity (didn't find much in that regard, BTW).

But I'm sure there is some discussion in those threads I linked which can help you.

The best supplement for joint pain:

WRONG.

The supplement he posted is the best thing for joint pain, no other answer will suffice.

Apparently.

Buy a multi. Buy a joint support mix, or buy the ingredients separately for even more savings. If you trust one company that's charging you a lot why not trust a couple of companies charging a moderate price?

Orange Triad is expensive. From what I can gather, though, the quality of the multivitamin is pretty good. I think it comes in tab form though so I am not quite sure on how effective it is in terms of digestability... I have always used capsule multivitamins but i haven't really heard any complaints about the digestability of its form yet.

-Quality of multi is good
-Digestability questionable but probably good
-Joint and Immunity questionable but heard good things (questionable because I haven't heard too many magical things about glucosamine itself so why is this one so good?)
-Controlled Labs advertising and promo EVERYWHERE they have samples and people doing reviews for them everywhere... its kind of hard to trust a company that gets in your face that much because you can't tell if the reviews are actual customer opinoins or not
*very expensive

I would say if you have the money to go ahead and try it out. There have been enough good things to say about it that it might be worth it to check out until you do your own research and formulate your own joint/multi/immun cocktail that you feel you've tailored on your own. Who knows maybe after you try this and then switch to a cheaper cocktail you will actually still like OT better.

Hopefully this helps you out
