We should do a day of posting in the WR where you act and post like your opposite political affiliation. I'm personally a registered Democrat, but do hold positions on some issues that would be considered conservative. I guess that would be considered more centrist then, but I still lean progressive on most issues. Just argue the opposite position you hold on issues.
Not in a cartoonishly stupid way where you're just mocking the other side. But in true good faith: act like a libtard if you're a conservatard and vice versa. Or maybe use the arguments the other side constantly uses (or effectively lies about) to galvanize their base.
Really post and make threads like you actually believe what you're saying. Steel man your arguments with good logic.
"A steel man argument is the opposite of a straw man argument. Steelmanning is the practice of applying the rhetorical principle of charity through addressing the strongest form of the other person's argument, even if it is not the one they explicitly presented. Creating the strongest form of the opponent's argument may involve removing flawed assumptions that could be easily refuted or developing the strongest points which counter one's own position. Developing counters to steel man arguments may produce a stronger argument for one's own position."
If you're not liberal or conservative, just argue the opposite positions you normally do.
So if you're MAGA pretend you're a staunch liberal with TDS. But make good arguments why Trump is horrible. And vice versa.
If you don't believe in trans in female sports, argue for it, etc.
