An unknown kid comes from Dublin with nothing but a dream, self belief and a deadly left hand that can put an elephant to sleep. He spends days and nights grinding in his gym over years and years.

Never doubts himself for a second, he kicks the door of the UFC down and demolishes everyone put in his way.

He drags the UFC back to his home city. He breaks every record in the book faster than anyone before him.

He goes from collecting €188 a week from social welfare to becoming a multi millionaire doing what he loves and many would never have thought possible.

He strolls in and blows away a champion who has been undefeated in 10 years. He K.O's him in 13 seconds and shakes the world.

Will you be witness?

No, I didn't write this lol

Someone will need to go down to Las Vegas ands identify the body. Might as well be all of us.

You gotta appreciate how fast his journey has been

Spoken like a bum whose heart is filled with bitterness.

Keep praying for his downfall.

Too bad it's him who answers.
I don't need to hate.

Complacency kills , and his octagon return will show

While he's acting a fool the challengers are sharpening their tools

He has been great, would be a shame if he doesn't return to MMA though.

I think sharpening his overall boxing, learning how to REALLY effectively incorporate the right hand, is only going to make that left dagger even more dangerous.

Honestly, what makes Conor so good, is that he's always upping the stakes, always looking for an even bigger challenge. Boxing Floyd is probably too much of a leap, but I undoubtedly think it'll make him better - if he comes back that is...

The diaz loss really takes from his legacy lol he could have played off his old losses as not having his heart in the sport yet. But the diaz loss demystified him greatly. And he didnt even avenge that loss. If someone finishes you and you beat them in an extremely close rematch, that isnt evening the score. Also the fact that its nate fucing diaz. Maybe if it was against robbie lawler or something that would be fucking impressive and na understandable loss since thats a huge weightclass for him and robbie is champ. But its to a lightweight gatekeeper. Which is HIS weightclass

Throw in some Cage Warriors stuff (Ivan Buchinger KO was great,) address his loss to Nate and you got a quality post

Why do you assume he isn't training hard and sharpening his skills ?

He seems to have posted many training pics/vids in the past 6 months.

I say he comes back with the best hands he has ever had.

And you said nothing like that in your post anyway.

You said "what comes up must come down".

Just a blanket, generalized statement that a hater would make.

It makes him more human but it actually made him a lot more interesting and eased the pressure. Having struggles and failures makes anyone more relatable, less hateable, and all around more entertaining. His rivalry with Nate is one of the top highlights of his career so far.

People hate Mayweather cause he always wins, puts on boring performances, and rarely seems challenged.
Ronda was getting boring around the Bethe fight because she was just demolishing her competition in seconds, it wasn't even worth buying her fights, then she got absolutely outclassed and everyone immediately turned on her.
You don't wanna be flawless, it only makes the hate stronger and the downfall harder.
