First of all, let's not make excuses for Conor's appalling refusal to send Dustin the charity donation. That money would went through the following day if Conor won the rematch.

So why has Conor failed to deliver on his promise? The answer to that is simple. Conor wants the angry and emotional Dustin to return for the trilogy fight.

Conor knows that calm and composed Dustin is a serious challenge and Conor doesn't want to see that version of him again. So, what better way to get Dustin emotional than to not only refuse to honor the agreed charity contribution but also imply that there is something shady going on with the organization?

As a one time Conor fan I hope Dustin doesn't take the bait and ends Conor's career. This isn't drunkenly punching an old man or attacking a bus. I can not find a way to forgive this. It's a stone cold sober, calculated and despicable act.

Fans cry for the old Conor to come back. Ruthless Conor re-emerges and they cry anyway

Conor is going to destroy Dustin and make his way through 155:

Damn i guess it is really over for Conor if he loses the trilogy.Even his most passionate nuthuggers are souring on him

This comes down to people in need who now don't get the help to better their life. Deciding such things based on a win or loss in competition for yourself means having a God complex. Gamesmanship is more direct. This is a character flaw.

It can also be just to make sure he himself is in the right mentality for the trilogy. Hard to want to murder someone whose charity you just donated to.

Too bad about the gym but on the other hand I want asshole Conor back in teh press conferences

Someone else posted that Poirer is just playing, he said in an interview that Conor paid the donation?
It seems that they were giving Conor thanks in advance and then he never answered them after the fight.

Dustin should pull out and get another fight booked.

Mcgregor is in his goofy drunk era

Its not that deep. Conor is just salty he lost and his management propably told him to not donate because there wasnt enough info where the money goes.

Its a really bad look tho. Dont make such promises if you are not willing to keep them. He couldve just promised to donate 50k and nobody wouldve hated on it.

Yeah I read the same thing in another thread, but I can't find the source to confirm it.

Poiriers not going to accuse a man of not following through on a charitable donation for "gamesmanship" purposes or "playing". Are you people out of your fucking minds!?!?!

Absolutely disgraceful stuff from McGregor, this is

This is the usual promotion of the battle, you are so naive
