Commentators Should Not Voice Their Opinion During The Fight

I feel that some times some judges definitely get swayed by commentator comments.
Some judges have no business being there. It is so political.

Commentators are literally paid to give their opinion.

They dont sit with them or listen to them to the best of my knowledge.

That is my understanding too, however it was crazy how holland could hear them right over the other side of the ring. Made me think maybe they could. Shows what a difference having no crowd makes.

It's easy to sway a judges opinion anyways with the amount of people swarming them.

judges do not listen to the broadcast commentary

With that level of noise? Each judge also sits at a different angle.

With no crowd sure but with the crowd and from different angles i doubt it.

I mean, you get corners and hometown crowds influencing the judges' perspective all the time, so I don't see the big deal with commentators being able to do the same.

Besides, we hear them complaining about bad decisions more often than not, so again, I fail to see the issue with them speaking their mind.

its crazy how inaccurate they are. if its hard to judge a fight and commentate at same time then they should not be so confident in how they are scoring.

Thiago was winning that fight pretty clearly idk why they were acting like it was a toss up.

Or maybe judges should be professional enough to just be good at their jobs.

The judges can 100% hear what they commentators are saying. If the fighters who are mid-fight trying to not get knocked out can react to the commentators then certainly the judges can. Holland heard DC from the other side of the cage.

Most wont be paying attention despite some having done it. Tunnel vision and all that.

DC is bar none the most biased commentator across all MMA orgs.
DC's level of bias is at boxing commentary levels.

He's great at breaking down wrestling moments if the fight. But whenever he's talking about striking its very, very clear who he's rooting for.

Good gawd.

MMA has the dumbest fans in all of professional sports.

3 rounds to 2 rounds is pretty close IMO. The UFC stats were pretty close too.

I agree Santos won, but it wouldn't have surprised me a judge scored it to Walker.
