College Hoops 2024-2025 Thread (UCONN Back 2 Back)

Nah he'll tell us again that living in Chicago is better than living in So Cal. <Lmaoo>

You realize I lived in LA for 8 months. Chicago is far better. The weather sucks but Downtown Chicago is epic. I live on the 43rd floor of a high rise in River North and see this from my balcony. They have like 3 high rises in all of LA. I live above the river and am within walking distance of the lake, Mag Mile, and Millennium Park. In SoCal, you’re stuck in traffic all day, deal with fake sleazebags, and the state income tax and rent are through the roof. There’s a reason why everyone is moving out of Commiefornia.

Can’t say the Houston loss is at all surprising. Miami was clearly the better team, I’m just surprised Houston made it past Auburn.

The picture was even gloomier when considering the rate of population loss. Illinois declined by 0.8% to 12.6 million people, a rate topped only by New York’s 0.9% loss.

That’s Illinois which mostly sucks and is boring AF (mainly just corn fields). I’m talking specifically about Downtown Chicago (River North/Gold Coast/Streeterville). You’re moving the goal posts.

Compare this to dumpy, ghetto ass downtown LA:

I've lived in both and each have their redeeming quality. Just very different vibes.

lol @ these army recruitment ads featuring segments that glamorize WW1 trench warfare jesus christ.
Guess it doesn't matter when you're trying to reach dumb people.

UConn -2
K-State -2
Creighton -1

Tight, tight, tight.

My guess is Texas will be -5 against The U.

Might argue that Jim Larranaga is a top 5 all time coach with how many postseasons he has made runs in with B-tier teams.

I find myself rooting for Texas for the first time in my life though with how this team and the coach came together after hothead tool Beard got canned for Dana Whiting.

Texas looks for real. Hope this win isn't a one and done...
