I believe he accepted a fight against Poirier, but there’s zero chance he accepted a fight with Khamzat
Everyone does it. Im not sure what the fuss is about honestly. Leon did it, Woodley did it, Stipe and Colby are doing it now.why fight when the ufc is rewarding your inactivity with title shots
When did Leon do it? You mean between the Nate fight and his title shot? Because he wasn't sitting out. He had a fight booked with Masvidal and Jorge pulled out.Everyone does it. Im not sure what the fuss is about honestly. Leon did it, Woodley did it, Stipe and Colby are doing it now.
It would be great if he was any good at it, but he sucks.God, whenever this dude speaks, he insults the intelligence of everyone.
I know he's playing a character but yiiikes.
I know, right. If he accepted at any moment it would have been made and meant it would have been made. Would have been made.Maybe he did so when it was pretty clear Khamzat was moving up. I doubt he did accepted at any moment that it would have really meant the fight would have been made. Not necessarily because he would never accept a fight with him, but if he accepted at any moment that it would have meant it would have been made, it would have been made. Because I don't doubt Khamzat would have taken that fight and the UFC also seemed to want to make that fight.
Guess I'll vote "No".

Just before fighting Usman, pay attention. When did Leon do it? You mean between the Nate fight and his title shot? Because he wasn't sitting out. He had a fight booked with Masvidal and Jorge pulled out.
Or during covid when he had a fight with Woodley and 3 fights with Khamzat all fall through, due to them not him.
When has Leon tactically sat out the way Colby is now?
Can you read? He had a fight booked with Masvidal between the Nate fight and the Usman fight.Just before fighting Usman, pay attention.

I can argue that colby didn't either. He fought usman and lost had a relatively normal turn around for the masvidal fight, got assulted by masvidal might have had legal things to go through as well as dental surgery + recovery period. When did Leon do it? It could be very possible that he accepted the porier fight but porier declined.
It's also possible that he accepted a fight from khamzat but Khamzat couldn't get his visa issues sorted out so the fight fell through. Which would explain the long period between the Diaz and Usman fights for khamzat. They probably wanted khamzat to fight ANYONE sooner but couldn't make it happen. which would also explain why he was kept on Ice til Abu Dhabi
