Colby Covington complete lack of credibility due to inactivity.

These are Colby's last six fights, all of which happened within the last 5 years.
*14 month break between RDA & Lawler.
*15 month break between Woodley & Usman.
*Currently on a 12+ month break since his win over Masvidal, with no fight scheduled.

My point is there's a serious argument Colby is the #2 WW on the roster, but its very hard to make that argument with conviction when apparently he's been turning down fights against up-and-comers like Kamzat.

Colby just turned 35, and he needs to make a decision if he wants to prove he's the best... or if he's going to sit out the rest of his career.

Top fighter, great wrestling, decent striking, top chin & heart... I believe he can beat most guys, had a very competitive fight vs Usman, but yeah, inactivity and wasting his prime.

I am against ranking fighters who don't have at least 2 fights per year.

Besides the thing he said about Brazil what did he really say and do? He has a gimmick but really doesn't say anything really that different than other shit talkers. Most likely people just needed a reason to hate on him. Notice he had a lot of friends when his career wasn't going anywhere and lost his fake friends once he started gaining success. Only fake people are friends with everyone. It's an individual sport, it naturally breeds jealousy from your peers.

Dana seemed to like the Shavkhat fight, so we'll see. That would be Shavkhat's toughest fight by far. I never liked Colby, but I really enjoy having someone to hate... Lol, you are seriously asking this question? He doesn't need to talk trash about his teammate like Jorge, Dustin, or his newer teammates like that WMMA fighter and alienated his teammate.

Colby is still trying to take his first few steps and attempting to talk after suffering the vicious assault on the streets from Masvidal and the Neik boys which left him in critical condition and on life support for a long time

Still long way to go for recovery

Colby is already in the fight of his life against Masvidal in the courtroom and he may not even return back to the octagon after all this
