However, he certainly will be the worst.

How many fighters made their pro debuts in the UFC?

Which one of them is the best fighter to make his professional debut in the UFC?

Punk will be the first guy in the UFC that had a 400 day title reign

Amir Soddallah (Amir had several ammy fights though)
Sakuraba? (Saku had legit catch wrestling with submissions though) He had that worked fight with Kimo before UFC-J I think.

Corey fuckin' Hill, y'all!

There are TUF guys who you could say made their pro debut in the UFC, but they also had at least 1(most multiple) fights on TUF, not to mention amateur fights and way more training.

Unless you are talking about Jason Thacker, he is the only guy with the same experience as this cm punk guy to fight in the UFC

Punk vs Strange Brew, give the fans what they deserve Dana

Oh ok, well if you say he'll be the worst then you must be right. Thanks TS.

He's probably the first fighter in the state sanctioned era to debut in UFC with no previous professional fights, no amateur fights, no exhibition fights in MMA/boxing/grappling/real wrestling.

Toney was one of the top boxers of his generation so its not the same. Punk has zero competition experience in any martial art.

Yeah, I just thought of that.

Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture both debuted in the UFC and are definitely above B.J. Penn.

Many would debate that. bj penn is a legitimate 2 weight division champ. And the greatest light weight of all time.

He's former world champ in a similar combat sport.
