A lot of the time people will cry robbery when the fight could have gone either way just because they don't like the fighter. For example GSP vs Hendricks or Jones vs Gus or Reyes. The only real robbery I remember was Bas Rutten vs Kevin Randleman, and even then there is still the argument that Bas did more from the Bottom.

Frankie vs Bendo 2 was really close, my heart was glad Bendo won, but if Frankie had that one, I can't complain. Felt bad for him but it is what it is.

Shogun/Machida 1 another I'd call a robbery, a fight were 2-3 rounds were given the wrong way rather than just one.

Your boy got slept by a sloppy wrestler and got beat by bisping.
<6>
Your boy in his first title defense as champion tapped to strikes to a LW journeyman in the 1st round and was retired by Big Rigg at the young age of 32. Got clapped in his prime multiple times

I like both GSP and Silva. Anderson was more fun to watch but GSP is the more accomplished fighter. I don't necessarily hold Anderson's losses later in his career against him, but like it or not it does tarnish his legacy.

GSP
Has 19 top 5 wins

Is a two division champion

13 fight win streak

9 title defenses

Has avenged both of his losses in dominating fashion

Every fighter he has ever faced fought for a major organization and has a winning record.

Anderson Silva
13 top 5 wins

17 fight win streak (16 in the UFC)

15 finishes during win streak

10 title defenses

3 wins at LHW

Both are great, but Imo I give the edge to GSP.

Jones vs Gus or Reyes.

The Gus1 fight was about 50/50 as it gets.

But with Reyes, Jones clearly lost the first three rounds.

Personally, I don't like Jones but as a fighter he's clearly and undeniably the LHW GOAT... and he clearly lost that fight in everybody's eyes but Jones-lovers and the judges, which could have been Jones-lovers.

Anderson Silva’s UFC records:
-Longest win streak (16)
-longest title reign (2457 days)
-most title defenses finishes (8)
-most knockdowns in title fights (11)
-most knockdowns in UFC history (18)
-10 title defenses (should be #1 with 11)
-3 1st round LHW KOs

GSP’s UFC records:
-shortest title reign (28 days)

I had Frankie winning the rematch too, but I'm glad Bendo won.

I love Frankie, but hated his title reign. Everyone he fought got instant rematches.

BJ Penn twice.
Maynard twice.
Bendo twice.

I respect he fought twice a year, but I was sick of the LW division being held up from fighters that deserved title shots.

That said, I hate the mentality of *I'm the champ, so I'll defend the belt once a year, maybe.*

A win is a win and a loss is a loss. Just because Anderson was flashy doesn't mean that GSP doesn't have a better record and faced higher ranked fighters. Like I said they're both great and are in the GOAT category, but I just think GSP had a better career.
