Of course Sherdog votes the most for GSP at the moment. Ask any random person on the street and they probably will have never heard of him.

Even though GSP was a way better fighter than the other two, we’re talking about who’s the MOST ICONIC, dummies. You can’t be an icon of a sport if you don’t transcend it’s hardcore fanbase.

Chuck, and here's why, he was the coach on TUF 1 and thats what made UFC explode, everyone saw him first.. after TUF 1 the UFC went from fringe too mainstream, he was iconic and was one of the main reasons. Then the first PPV after TUF 1 was UFC 52 and Chuck knocked Randy out and won the belt, that was a huge time for UFC and the most important time ever in its history, thats what made it sky rocket.

How tf did Royce not make it to the top 3

He's the most important fighter in MMA history

LOL, picked opponents to promote BJJ. Once he couldn't do that, he got smashed. not saying he was trash. he was a great athlete, but not comparable to a GSP fir instance

Tito vs CL was maybe the biggest UFC PPV ever, at that time IMO

Very true, yeah it was. There was so much hype around that. I think without TUF 1 then Conor and GSP never get known much, UFC was losing huge amounts of money before TUF 1 and they were in big trouble, it was fringe always but there were becoming less and less viewers. Chuck was so important and vital.

People should listen to the Ferrtita brothers about how much they were thinking of packing in it before TUF, they were losing huge amounts of money, it was going under.
