Magny is the unofficial replacement for Edwards when he doesn't make it into the octagon for whatever reason. Probably a wise move to have a backup for the main event. And just think.. This fight could and already should have happened.

I see what you mean, Magny seems to improve more. Although he is older and has 10 fights more.
If the grappling cancels each other out, we might see one of the worst kickboxing matches.

How is the #8 ranked WW losing to the #9 ranked WW an indication you are at the end of the road?

Chiesa is 3-0 at WW (3 fight win streak) and 17-4 overall. What I can't figure out is who you are under rating more: Chiesa or Magny?

Ooh, good matchup! I like this fight, a lot. Chiesa has been looking really good at 170lbs, but Magny is a very strong gate-keeper. If Chiesa wins, then he probably deserves a top 5 spot.

Gun to my head, I think Magny takes this. He has a very good record against wrestlers and grapplers; nobody's dominated him on the ground since he fought Maia, and Chiesa is certainly no Maia.
