Wow, im dropping 100 on Canelo now for sure

Holy shit what the hell , he's definitely on zombie mode. Maybe a good sign he's working hard to the bone ....

Pants falling down. Guess he's serious about making weight

I'm telling you guys if this dude comes in motivated (which at least due to weight he seems well on track) then Jr is gonna give Canelo a run for his money.

I think Canelo is an awesome fighter, but the issue is that everyone's written JCCJR off as a joke and a loser after that shit hole performance against Fonfara. He's big, he's tough, Sergio broke his face and he still kept coming so you know he's got heart when he feels like showing it. Jr's a good fighter, he just has the case of" giving no fucks." Canelo is a more talented, proven, skilled fighter but Jr's size is no joke and his pressure can be very bothersome to say the least. Two years since the Fonfara "performance" so maybe he's grown a bit, he's still pretty young (31) and even with a bunch of fights he hasn't taken a ton of beatings or anything so the mileage isn't as bad as it looks.

That being said he probably finds a way to embarrass himself and therefore embarrass me by showing any confidence in his chances at all lol. Books have him around +450-475 give or take, so if my shit math doesn't fail me (honestly if I'm wrong please correct, it's super early/late here, groggy af to be writin this much this early let alone be doing math. Seriously fuck math) then looking like they're giving Jccjr a 17-18% chance here, feel like that's low, man.

So yeah I said it, from a betting perspective, I'm playing Jr. Already have a play, will add a bit more, probably no more than a unit or 1.5u (will be c/p'ing this in the boxing betting thread so ergo all the betting talk itp). Give me the big dog $ on Jr and I'll throw money away on him for these reasons.

motivated jcc jr the same as in shape James Toney?

It's just tough to not give a fuck for years, and get ready to fight a guy that has, in a couple of months.

My god he looks terrible.

We expected this. There was never a scenario in which Chavez made 164 without looking like hell.

My god he looks terrible.

did Vegeta not look terrible, as he was in envy of Goku and future Trunks, alone on an asteroid... beaten down... hungry... only to find the will to turn Super Saiyan.

Do you not see the same fire in those eyes.. the same signs of endless training in those cheek bones.

It's just the lighting =)

Chavez is in it for pay only. Doesn't want to lose a percentage. I wouldn't be shocked if the fight is a work.

So he actually wants to be 160lbs on the night of the fight? Can't he just cut 10 lbs of water weight for the weigh in and be 170 for the actual fight?

I have a feeling he'll be dead on his feet.

Junior was always a slow starter as it is and coming in drained is not going to do much for his ability to fight hard for 12. I think he's going to take an embarrassing beating.

Don't know if I have seen a "GIVE A FUCK" Chaves Jr fight yet at least not in a long minute. He's got power n can take a shot decent. I think it ends up much closer than folks think and might go like Jacobs v ggg. Jacobs was so much bigger he could take the GGG bombs. Granted as Jr has shown he's not in same class as Jacobs but then again I dot know what Jr looks like when actually motivated. Hope the kid puts up a fight and shows he's a little more than just a kid whose daddy is a GOAT.
