I'm kinda curious why would he do that I don't understand. I mean I know it's a fight but it seemed pretty ruthless how he just annihilated him after he seems like he gave up. Also why exactly did he tap? I don't have fight pass anymore or I would research myself sherbros

I read Charles' mind through time during the fight and his motivation for tapping to Felder's elbows was so that one day you could create this thread.

honestly, it looked like that elbow landed pretty hard on his eye or orbital, and I wondered if he got injured from it, as he seemed to tap out after it. But Felder kept pounding so he had to defend then.

All kidding aside, that's the right call to make when you know you're losing. GSP gave the same reason for tapping out to strikes. He knew when he was beat so rather than absorb further brain damage, he wisely tapped in order to be able to fight another day.
