Or was it just one fight? To recap, the headbutt (which I think was accidental) but that allowed Chandler to rock Dustin with follow up punches. Once on the ground, he grabbed the gloves a few times and there was the obvious fish hook. Multiple punches to the back of the head as well.
Haven't watched too many of his bellator fights but was chandler often committing fouls or this is this one fight? Either way, it was bad, especially fish-hooking. Dustin was used to folks grabbing his gloves but this wa new lmao. Understandable that he was pissed.

Seemed like anxiety and desperation to end the fight. Chandler just doesn’t seem super comfortable in long fights.

But yes. Pretty dirty in that instance. I’ve seen and had people do all kinds of crazy shit to me in fights and sparring. Eye pokes, punches to the dick in the clinch, glove grabs, takedowns running into other groups of people or even off the mats. People panic or get desperate and they just don’t give a fuck.

Seems like it just gets worse as you get older. I think this is the first time I’ve seen Chandler cheat like this

I don't remember him doing any fouling in any of his other UFC or Bellator fights so it was surprising the amount that happened here.
Here's what I thought about the fouls:
-That headbutt did lead to Dustin getting stunned and taken down against the cage, however that looked like just an accidental clash.
-Him blowing his nose on Dustin is just nasty and idk if that's really a foul, but again I give him the benefit of the doubt here since Dustin severely damaged it beforehand.
-Hitting the back of the head was a bit iffy since it was pretty blatant, perhaps Chandler wasn't able to see properly because of all the blood? Either way it was bad enough that the ref should've done something about it.
-The fishhooking was blatant as hell and there's no way to defend that, I'm really disappointed to see Chandler doing this. What's worse is that you could only see it once the replay team found it, if Chandler won this probably would've been ignored because nobody knew until Poirier pointed it out in the post fight interview.

Overall I undestand why Poirier is pissed at Chandler and Dan(ref) after the fight, shit like this almost cost him the fight and Dustin's been on the receiving end of A LOT of fouls throughout his career and is probably sick of it by now.

That's what Dustin and Chandler said in the post fight interview, Chandler said it was just because he needed to blow his nose due to the amount of blood stuffing which is understandable lol.
The only clip I could find is this:

What a dick.

If you judge a dirty fighter by them doing dirty stuff in a fight, then yes he is clearly a dirty fighter lol. People throw fits on this board for inadvertent eye pokes, Chandler fish hooked, grabbed his gloves multiple times, and hit the back of his head all in one fight.

Honestly It is kind of crazy how under the radar this has gone across the MMA media and fans, a lot of people are still praising Chandler's performance.
I don't want people completely shitting on the guy, it was a great fight but it's pretty insane how little this is being talked about considering the fouls were pretty bad here.

Poor Dustin. Dirty motherfucker indeed. <45><45>

I didn't notice the fish hook live, but could he just have been trying to grab Dustin's chin to raise up for the choke?

Yeah, he was desperate to finish. He knew he was short on time and the longer the fight went Dustin had the advantage.

Yeah that fish hooking was dirty as fuck, but it’s barely getting talked about because it’s Chandler and no one wants to criticize him for some reason. If Dustin had done that people would be raking him over the coals
