its a good dvd...solid instruction,solid basics....the best dvd for people who are new to jiujitsu like whitebelts.....the only knock on this dvd is no half guard and very little escapes.....but lots of guard passing and alot of attack combos from guard, mount, knee on belly, chest to chest......you can find it cheaper on budovideos.com i think its $60 i think when people start jiu jitsu the first thing the should buy is a gi ,a white belt, and this dvd....and by the way i am no way connected to cesar gracie or budo videos....im just one jiujitsu player helping another.

In short, this will provide you with some progression from the fundamentals you'll learn from Roy Dean, as well as reviewing those same basics. Cesar is especially good on offensive combinations, rounding out the material from Dean's DVD. Its a bit older, dating back to 1999, but still an excellent piece of work: Cesar has a very detailed style, taking great care to talk you through everything he does.
