What are your thoughts on this stand?

Forget the bag, forget the gloves......the stand. I have an Everlast stand right now....it sucks. This stand looks like it would give me room to circle the bag. How is the price? Granted I get everything with it which I will sell off(unless you think the bag is worth keeping). I have to have a stand, no drilling or hanging from the ceiling.

Honest opinions. Thanks all.

I am thinking about something like this. If it were close to me, I would get it.

i've been hoping for one of those to come up on craigslist around me for a while. if i saw that price i would buy it in a miniute no question. others here have had the older version and said that it was a very good stand. you should get it.

Id buy that for 250. I also have a free standing set up and it sucks unless you just want to stand there and throw combos....but even then it pretty much sucks.

Thanks all. Going to email them today to make sure its still available. What about the hydro bag that comes with it? Decent or crap?

Id use the bag unless you have one already that you like. I normally have to use some pretty shitty bags so I cant imagine that thing being any worse than some of the ones I use.

stupid question: are expensive heavy bags THAT much better than cheaper ones? are they worth the extra $$$

I hate water filled bags. Kicking them hurts, but not in a bag too hard kind of way, they just awkwardly smack on your legs. If it comes with the deal, try it out, you might like it.

I dont know man. I have a Title Classic 100 pound heavy bag. I bought it for 99 bucks off Title. It is 100 times better than the Neverlast C3 Foam Heavy bag that costs a bit more in Dicks or Sports Authority. My Classic has soft fill, padding around. Ive had for about 2 years, no real settling and Wes informed me there were no sandbags in there. The Neverlast was rock hard in a month. So I guess that was a case where the cheaper bag beat the more expensive one...lol.

I've got a C3 foam one, I got it as a gift but I quite like it. Maybe its personal preference, or more likely a case of inconsistency with Everlast.

Quite possible. Initially it was great.....after a month it was a concrete wall.

I have this everlast bag as well. I'm just waiting to find one I like before replacing it. It isn't horrible but I need shin guards to kick it due to hardness.

I've looked at that corner stand for a long time for my garage. Unfortunately, there was not enough reviews out there for me to justify spending a big chunk on it. Also, I am currently using a Century brand bag stand and the material is meh. If you do get it, please do a detailed review on it =D

Well I now need a new bag stand as the everlast omnistrike stand I have has a broken bracket where it holds the heavy bag. Now I will either look for something like this or ask my brother in law who is a welder to help me come up with something in my garage.

I'm betting your brother in law could make up something much better than our Everlast stands. If you do go that route....make sure you take pics.

On another note......no response from the seller. Oh well.
