Rewatched it, and laughed myself to death about it. People talk a lot of shit about Conor vs Khabib but this is underrated and way worse. Dominick shows up looking homeless, coming off a close loss to Garbrandt and 3 years off and gets gifted a title shot despite a much more proven BW division, goes on to talk down to CCC and gets his shit pushed in for it. All this talk in the Garbrandt fight of being the greatest and how no one could knock him out got flushed down the toilet once he fought someone who wasn't average. Totally got dominated by someone who was smart enough not to fall for his one dimensional game

Then goes on to cry about how the referee smelled of booze and ciggarettes to justify his own shitty performance when he'sthe one that looks like Booze Cruz. I thought "there's no such thing as ring rust"

I hope he does come back though just to prove that the competition at 135 is far superior to that of when he reigned as champion and to get exposed yet again. Do you agree?

Prime Cruz makes easy work of Cejudo. He made a career of beating midget wrestlers.
You know you got your ass beat when the only excuse people have left for you is that you would’ve won the fight if you were in your prime...lmao y’all are ridiculous, he got his ass beat after hyping himself up, Cruz himself would’ve told you he was still in his prime prior to that fight.

Why does everyone have to be a polarized :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: about everything?

Cruz got clocked bad.
He was in fact getting up.

Both of these things can be true, they're not mutually fucking exclusive. Of course he's going to be upset about it, of course he's going to take pot shots at the ref. Doesn't mean the stoppage was great. It wasn't horrible, but Cruz does have a point- in a fight like that, give them a little bit of time. Especially when you're dealing with 135ers, who can't hit hard, and can recover relatively quickly.

He took it on short notice and probably had a lingering injury.

Fathertime is undefeated, Frankie is the only small guy who’s been competitive with fighting the aging process... I suspect that’s due to his crazy work ethic

Shouldn’t have taken the fight then, that’s not Henry Cejudos problem. Cruz would’ve gotten merked regardless Henry was beating that ass from the jump

Are we going to pretend that it was the best Cruz we've seen?

Honestly just fucking watch 10 seconds of Cruz fighting Brian Bowles and then Cruz fighting Cejudo, and then try to tell me that it's the same fighter.

I really wouldn't say Cruz is one dimensional, just that his style isn't very adaptable.
Cruz is good everywhere, just not able to adapt when opponents don't chase him around.
