can't shake addiction

I'm not sure if you're trying to lose weight or just clean up your diet for health reasons but what helped me the most in cleaning up my diet was Intermittent Fasting. There's a thread on it in the Diet subforum but the basic concept (if you use the 18/6 model like I did) is that you fast 18 hours a day and have a 6 hour window. There's some science behind why it works for weight loss, but I even did a bulk on it which wasn't easy.

The key for me was that on a typical eating schedule (3-6 meals/day) I have to make good decisions for breakfast, lunch, dinner and all those snacks like office donuts and bagels, going to the pizza place next to my office, etc. With IF I had to make choices for my pre- and post-workout meals. 2 meals=2 decisions instead of at least 3 or 4. It's a hell of a lot easier to turn down a donut because "I'm not eating until 3pm...if the donuts still there, fuck it, I'll eat it" then "ok, I cave I'll eat it now, then still have lunch in an hour."

No reason to change your dit.

Enjoy your life and die young.

I'm having a hard time not drinking copious amounts of caffeine and it's gotten even more difficult now that I have a baby girl crying in the middle of the night. If the doctor told me I couldn't have caffeine or I would die it would suck ass.

yogurt, fruit, liquid b12, walking daily, low sugar diet and lots of protein with a low carb diet but not carb free. I lost 80 lbs in 2 years. Once in a while treat yourself but not for a few months.

Keep only good food in your house, and remember that when you get hungry.

Give yourself a cheat day or two at first so you're not quitting all at once.

Keep gum nearby at all times. You would be surprised what chewing will do to your appetite.
