To me, a male gynecologist is the creepiest occupation to have ever existed. I don't believe for a second they take that job for the "love of science".

I would like to know how they defend their choice of job and what type of excuse they come up with. When I googled it things like "I grew up with sisters" comes up. Laughable.

Thank you.

Approximately 17% to 37% of gynecologists are men, with the percentage varying by region and study. In the United States, about 83% of gynecologists are now female, while in the UK, roughly 37% are male

37% brits

In the US it's generally coupled with obstetrics, so the focus is also on pregnancy and birth.

It's an underserved specialty, OBGYN, and due to the overturning of Roe vs Wade many OBYGYN's have retired or left states that threaten to arrest them for helping women.

But all the male ones should quit anyways because it freaks you out. If you got your way it would just result in more women dying preventable deaths due to lack of access to reproductive healthcare.

Stop being a little bitch.

theres no shortage of female gynecologists. And theres plenty of men they could save instead.

Midwifes are more common for prenatal support currently and are increasing in popularity.

OBGYN is a doctor and a lot of the training and skills taught and learned involve surgeries. It’s not just about sticking your hand up ladies like a turkey, there’s surgical procedures like c sections, or when the cord wraps and the baby doesn’t have enough length to get out and they need to remove it.

My experience with my wife through our pregnancy has been that most of the males are surgery orientated where the women tend to be more focused on the standard care that would occur through out pregnancy. The experienced male surgeons seem to be the once’s that get involved when shit goes sideways or someone wants a non vaginal birth.

My wife wants a male Dr to deliver babies. She wants a female for normal work under the hood. Some women prefer and trust a male authority figure/doctor.
I'm far from a feminist, but there's no evidence to suggest men are more competent than women in the medical field. But there¨s plenty of evidence that both men and women still have this perception.

They've manipulated data and stories in studies and tested how they are graded by both sexes... Men always score higher in perceived competence.

Which one would you prefer; shiny, veiny, succulent cock or nasty, old, smelly pussy
