Probably a stupid question, but can one apply to be a Mod or does one have to wait until offered the position by an existing Mod?

I spend the majority of my time in the Strength and Conditioning Sub Forum, and we don't have a regular Mod. I'd like to apply for the position if it were possible to do so.

Thank you. Since there is no formal procedure to follow, I will simply hope for the best should such a position become vacant.

Thanks again for the link.

It's the Welsh who have that stigma over them, not the Scottish!

Also, while some of us may be more active in certain sub-forums, all of us mod the MMA discussion.
It's a rough place

I'm guessing that most of the dubbs/bannings come from the heavies?

It's the busiest area, so stands to reason.
Also most flaming/bashing/arguments arise in there.

It's a lot of work to keep it as organized as it is, and X 10 on a fight night.
X50 is a superstar fights or there is an upset

x500 when fedor fought and the forum shuts down lol.

It's easy to get carried away in the heavies, I got my only dubs in there fairly recently.
