Now that all the fights are on paramount, I stumbled on the 2010’s series. A lot of stinkers that year. But also some legendary fights.

Anyway, rewatching Cain vs Brock. Thinking about the skill level of the current HW division. I think sea level Cain would be top 5 easy. Shame he couldn’t stay healthy.

If only prime Khabib got there sooner.

Can't help but love Cain, guy was a marauder. HW used to be crazy. Big country's resumé alone is a crazy deep list of the biggest names across 2 decades

People who say HW has always been shit are overstating the case quite a bit

Would've loved to seen Cain vs Miocic & Ubereem.

One of the craziest super fights ever would be Jon Jones vs Cain Velasquez. I don't think any super fight could top that unless it was Fedor/Brock or GSP/Silva.

Sticking to reality tho, Cigano vs Cain were some of the most excited I've ever been for a fight happening. All 3 of those I was on the hyped level of Chuck/Tito, Hughes/GSP, BJ/GSP, & Chuck/Wand.

Brock looked like absolute dog shit in this. I'm not impressed by Cain either.

Nostalgia is one hell of a drug...

Pretty crazy that Cain had only 8 pro fights at this point, and Brock only 6.

Both maul Gane, but we know nothing about Aspinall's TDD and cardio.

I wish he’d have mauled that child molester instead of acting the fool shooting his gun out the window of a moving truck in a car chase through town.
He’d be a free man right now.

This fight, plus Khabib vs Conor were the wildest fights ever in regards to audience engagement. The BWW we watched both them at was deafening with everyone yelling

Fun times.

JDS was one of my favorite ever fighters, I still think top 5 all time in UFC HW. But after the first KO of Cain, Cain just mauled him in the next two fights.

JDS was a tough SOB, but Cain took some of his soul in those beat downs. A shame Cain was so brittle.

If you think of it theres not a lot of heavyweight wrestlers. Hokit may be one. JJ is gone. Gable isn't here (yet)

At the top you got guys like Tom, Gane. Waldo coming up
