This happened in my previous environ being he was local so I look him up every now and again.
He's due for parole in Feb and could be out!

Considering why he went to jail, I'll be happy to have him out again. From limited pics he's doing okay.

He's served his time, but he isn't a hero, he didn't do the right thing even if his response was understandable for many.

His rampage solved nothing at all, he maimed an innocent man and got locked up right when his wife and kids needed him the most.
Hope nobody involved has to lose anymore than they already have.

I'd say even if he had shot the guy he meant to shoot, that was still the stupidest option available. If you absolutely have to kill him, you shouldn't be dumb enough to try lighting him up in daytime traffic.
He should prioritize being there for his son, at least enough to not get locked up immediately.

Then you have the time to plan your perfect murder from the comfort of the home office. You'd either decide not to do it or you'd come up with something better than
"Stake out at the courthouse, follow him leaving and shoot him to death"

I did not know his son was assaulted 100 times. I can see flying into a rage. Temporary Insanity may be justified here, but I have to admit, I am ignorant of most of the details.

I know that there are no other allegations coming from any other children or parents of the daycare in question.
A child predator at a daycare abusing a kid 100 times, but only that one kid? Pulled off in complete secrecy 100 times to just one kid seems too unlikely.

I understand his rage, but righteous or reckless... he's still on the hook for chasing someone at high speeds and shooting at (& hitting one of) them while in a rage.

Everyone gets how he felt, but he fucked a lot of lives up instantly when he did that. I'm glad he's gonna be out relatively quick but its by the grace of God that no one died.

I think you're overlooking a couple of things there.

Even a filthy child molester has to actually establish a "relationship" with their victim, and it's perfectly possible they only abuse one child at a time.

It's also very, very possible there are more victims who might still be children and have never told anyone about what happened to them.

Or even they didn't verbalize it in an understandable way and were "told" it didn't happen by a parent that didn't understand.

A lot is lost at that age that won't be recovered for a long time, and not even intentionally.

For sure, look I'm all for going after any allegation of any nature especially when its kids while they're at a daycare. If he did anything at all he deserves whatever horrors he encounters.

But if he didn't do it, that's almost equally as tragic. Neither he or his stepfather would have deserved that happening to them.
