Colby Covington is officially a UFC interim champion. He talked the talk and walked the walk.

Woodley ducked Colby at UFC 219 while trying to secure a fight with Nate Diaz. Now there’s no way TyQuil can avoid the king of chaos.

I see this fight happening at UFC 228 September 8th. I’ve got Colby winning by tko in round 4. TyQuil simply won’t be able to keep up with the pace. Who you guys got?C2207A4E-A033-4C87-8863-ADFA310E5A44.jpeg


After Colby wins vs Woodley, it’s very likely we see Covington vs St Pierre headline the NYE card in December. I think Colby would UD GSP 49-46 if he accepts the fight.
 
gsp will not fight him, but i agree 228 is a good time frame if not 229 if thats in october for the woodley fight

or if they wanna wait it can co-headline a stacked msg card. maybe conor-khabib main?

Let the fight begin this year, Woodley had been sideline for a year(s) not defending his belt.

Now it's ti.e for a championship fight and if Woodley can't defend it,

Might aswell strip him of the belt and let Covington and Till or Usman fight for it.
 
Woodley got taken down by Jake Shields and Rory people are delusional if they think that Colby cant take him down. Will be interesting to see how Woodley does agaisnt a fighter that acurslly pressures him and doesn't just stare at him for twenty five minutes.
 
I got Woodley knocking out Colby. Colby seems to think he got the edge over him because of practise.
But I really doubt Tyron going 100% in training, why would you go all out and risk injury and your career.

Woodley power and explosiveness is a different class to:

Rafael dos Anjos
Demian Maia
Dong Hyun Kim
Bryan Barberena

Don't praise them either. I like watching ultimate fighting championship, not ultimate hugging championship. If you're going on the ground be active or get the fuck up. Fuck point fighters, they're pussies.

he landed 150 strikes, threw 350. you didnt watch the fight if you're trying to say didn't strike and land on dos anjos

It's not if he can take him down, it's if he can keep him down. It's if he can outcardio him. It's if he can outstrike him.

Woodley has the speed and power. RDA connected a lot, but if Woodley connects with one of those shots, Colby is going to sleep.

I love the active ground game and grappling. Keyword ACTIVE. Colby was boring AF.
