This could be a good fight. Ortega can't hang with the elite it seems. In 5 years he beat Edgar and Zombie but lost to Max, Volk and Yair (injury). Loses to top guys, beats lower top guys and upper mid tier guys.

He is still young so he may be able to go on a run but doubtful he gets the belt, and no chance at LW with all the killers there right now.

He beat Moicano, that's his best win. Besides that it was washed up older fighters like KZ, Edgar, Cub Swanson, Guida. They just like Ortega, he's a super handsome, South LA Chicano with an exciting style filled with finishes. Dudes a good fighter but certainly hasn't earned his keep, he is the Colby of 145 basically.

Oh and the entire 145lb division sucks. It's shin deep shallow and they need to aggressively sign top talent for it like they have been with 125lbs.
