Brett Okamoto

Sounds like this guy

Brett Okamoto is John Morgan on keto diet and with a 3 days beard.

He's okay but eh. He's the typical cookie cutter sports interviewer guy. Written out questions, waits for the response, then another question rinse and repeat. Never build much off of what they give him. You can say what you want about Ariel but he isn't afraid to push the boundaries and ask the questions people want even if that means fighters black ball him.

Something about the guy bugs me, he tries too hard to be perfect. He has no eccentricities and doesn’t have an intriguing personality. Anyone else agree?
I know what you mean to me he always gave me the impression of these guys that try to mirror your body language and say what they think they're supposed to say, rather than just being normal, I think he's just trying to do his job well, but I've had that same feeling with him forever, like he probably has an image of himself as 'the cool reporter' or something, whereas that BT sport's guy never tries too hard and always gets natural sounding interviews

He reminds me of a red wine drinker by a fireplace... To each their own lol

No screwing around or stirring the pot. He treats MMA like any other sport reporter would that they are stuck covering. All news and no bias. In a way its good. He is one of the few trusted media sources who you know won't try to fish for stories, ask awkward questions or break unreliable inaccurate news. . He reminds me of a intern. Just trying to sail under all the fighters and bosses radar and hope to jump up the corporate ladder one day with a flawless work record. His dream is probably to cover a real sport and i bet he cant wait to get the heck outa dodge after he earned his dues.
